Business Setup
Configure your business profile, logo, contact information, and time zone.
Overview
Your business profile controls how your business appears in all outgoing emails and throughout the ReturnNudge interface. Keep this information up to date to ensure a professional experience for your customers.
Accessing Business Settings
- Click Settings in the sidebar.
- Click Edit Business Profile in the Business Information section.
Business Information
Business Name
Your business name appears in:
- All outgoing emails (header and footer)
- The kiosk registration screen
- Merge fields as
{{business_name}}
Contact Email
Your contact email is used as the reply-to address for all outgoing emails. This is the email customers will reply to when they receive a service reminder, birthday email, or broadcast.
Website URL
Your business website URL. This can be linked in your emails so customers can easily visit your website.
Phone Number
Your business phone number, displayed in email footers so customers can call you directly.
Business Address
Your physical business address, shown in email footers for CAN-SPAM compliance.
Business Type
Select the type of business you run (e.g., Bike Shop, Mechanic, Dentist, Barber, Veterinarian, HVAC, Optometrist, Lawn Care, or Other). This helps ReturnNudge suggest relevant templates during onboarding.
Business Logo
Upload your business logo to brand your outgoing emails:
- Click Choose File to select an image from your computer.
- Click Save to upload.
To remove your logo, click the Delete Logo button.
Tip: A square or horizontal logo works best in email headers. Avoid very tall logos as they take up too much space in emails.
Time Zone
Your time zone determines when automated emails are sent. ReturnNudge uses your configured time zone to:
- Send service reminders at an appropriate time of day
- Send birthday emails in the morning
- Display accurate timestamps in your activity log and email history
- Reset daily email sending limits
Make sure this matches your business's local time zone.
Re-Running the Setup Wizard
At the bottom of the Settings page, you'll find a Run Setup Wizard Again button. This lets you walk through the onboarding steps a second time — useful if you want to change your business template, re-import customers, or reconfigure birthday emails.
- Your existing data (customers, services, email history) is not deleted when you restart the wizard.
- You can skip the wizard at any time without losing progress — your account will continue working as before.
- Automated emails (reminders and birthday emails) continue sending while you're re-running the wizard.
Saving Changes
After making changes, click Save at the bottom of the form. Changes take effect immediately for all future emails.
Note: Changes to your business profile do not affect emails that have already been sent or are currently being processed.
Required Fields
The following fields are required:
- Business Name
- Contact Email
- Time Zone
Other fields are optional but recommended for a professional email appearance and CAN-SPAM compliance.
