Team Management

Invite team members, manage roles, and control access to your ReturnNudge account.

Overview

ReturnNudge supports multi-user accounts so your team can collaborate. You can invite team members, assign roles, and control what each person can access.

Roles

ReturnNudge has two user roles:

Role Permissions
Admin Full access to all features, settings, billing, and team management
Member Access to customers, services, emails, broadcasts, and the dashboard. Cannot manage settings, billing, or team members.

Admin Capabilities

Admins can:

  • Manage all customers, services, and emails
  • Access and modify business settings
  • Manage email templates
  • View and manage billing and subscriptions
  • Invite and remove team members
  • Change team member roles
  • Delete broadcasts (admin only)
  • Bulk delete customers and services (admin only)

Member Capabilities

Members can:

  • View and manage customers and services
  • View email history and activity log
  • Create and send broadcast emails
  • Use kiosk mode
  • Duplicate broadcasts

Members cannot:

  • Change business settings
  • Modify email templates
  • Manage billing or subscriptions
  • Invite or remove team members
  • Change another user's role
  • Delete broadcasts
  • Bulk delete customers or services

Inviting Team Members

  1. Click your profile icon in the top right and select Accounts.
  2. Click on your team account.
  3. Click Invite A User.
  4. Enter the person's name and email address.
  5. Select their role (Admin or Member).
  6. Click Send.

The invited person receives an email with a link to accept the invitation. They can create an account or sign in with an existing one. Once accepted, they appear in your team members list.

Note: Invitations can expire. If an invite expires, you can resend it from the team management page using the Resend button. You can also copy the invite link directly.

Managing Team Members

Viewing Your Team

From the account page, you can see:

  • All active team members with their roles
  • Two-factor authentication (2FA) status for each member
  • Pending invitations awaiting a response

Changing Roles

  1. Go to your account page.
  2. Click Edit next to the team member.
  3. Change their role.
  4. Save. Changes take effect immediately.

Removing Team Members

  1. Go to your account page.
  2. Click Edit next to the team member.
  3. Remove them from the account.

Removed team members immediately lose access. Their past actions in the activity log are preserved.

Team Member Limits

Your subscription plan determines how many team members you can have (including pending invitations):

Plan Team Members
Starter Up to 5
Growth Up to 10
Business Unlimited

When your limit is reached, the invite button is disabled and an upgrade prompt is shown. Visit the Billing page to upgrade your plan.

Account Ownership

The person who created the ReturnNudge account is the account owner. The owner:

  • Always has Admin privileges
  • Cannot be removed from the team
  • Is the primary contact for billing
  • Can transfer ownership to another team member from the account page
